Michael became involved with Home Instead Senior Care after many years in retail and human resource management, and believes that high quality employees are the root of success for any business. He began his senior care career at Home Instead Senior Care's Chicago, IL office, before saying goodbye to the Windy City in order to open his own Home Instead Senior Care franchise in Wichita. Michael set about designing training, compensation and management systems that would make his Home Instead Senior Care franchise second to none in quality in all of Sedgwick County. Michael spends much of his time in the community, actively working to change the face of aging in Wichita while promoting the Home Instead Senior Care brand. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management and Development from National-Louis University in Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Texas in Austin. He is also a certified Professional in Human Resources .
I wanted to send a note to thank you so much for the Easter Lily plant, the sweet familiar hymn, the thoughtful egg with the prayer quilt, and the visit from the kindest Ann. HI has helped our family several times time working with my mother when she was struggling with cancer, my grandfather as he aged at home and most recently my father to help with mobility and companionship. The caregivers that have helped us have all been friendly, helpful and enjoy spending time with the client. The office staff Whitney, Sherri and Ewelina are very easy to work with and do a fantastic job keeping us updated on needs, schedules and concerns. I can't say enough good things about the team here and we have recommended them already to other friends in town.

We have three kids together and 12 grandkids. I enjoy going to visit them as they live all over the US and beyond. We also enjoy getting to visit my parents each week. We have always enjoyed getting to go back to PA to visit my husband’s parents and siblings, as well.
It allows me to use my gifts and talents to serve and love on senior adults. My grandmothers were wonderful women who greatly influenced my life, but I was not able to be in Indiana to help them regularly as they entered their later years. The thing I like best is that Mom's helper leaves detailed notes regarding every visit. And, she doesn't hesitate to call or text me with questions, concerns, suggestions or information.
